Emergency Bunker Adjustment Factor (EBAF)
Following the recent developments on the fuel prices and latest announcements by major shipping lines introducing an Emergency Bunker Adjustment Factor (EBAF), we see it necessary to follow the same to ensure a high level and sustained service to our customers.
Effective the 1st of June 2018, an EBAF will be applied across all our Groupage / Consolidations globally as follows:
– USD 3 w/m ALL EXPORTS
– EUR 3 w/m from EUROPE
– GBP 3 w/m from UK
– USD 3 w/m from USA & ASIA
This charge may change in the future in line with global developments and further announcements by carriers. We will surely notify you accordingly. EBAF applies on all shipments departing from the 1st of June 2018 onward regardless of the validity of your contracts.
